A September Letter from Jyoti

Well, September will be upon us shortly and back home University students are preparing for their first semester, and school children are making last minute visits to the stationary stores where giant supplies are selling quickly.  Summer vacation is drawing to an end.  Most Vancouverites have returned from all inclusive vacations in Mexico or holidays in central BC (Okanagan) where peach, pear, cherry and plum groves span for kilometers. Lake Okanagan is an ideal vacation spot and attracts thousands of boaters, swimmers and party go-ers from Vancouver every year.  Some may have even seen the elusive "Ogopogo" (the canadian version of the Loch Ness Monster) lurking in Lake Okanagan.
